Daniel Hyde is the visionary CEO and Founder of the LIFE- Mentorship Program, a community initiative born from his personal journey of resilience, self-motivation, and a deep commitment to uplifting others. Born in Accra, Ghana, Daniel moved to East Orange, New Jersey in 2005 at the age of 11 with his father, sister, and brother in search of a better future.
Though the transition to a new country was challenging, Daniel found stability and guidance through sportsโparticularly basketballโwhich kept him focused and grounded during his formative years.
He played for the East Orange city team and later attended Newark Tech High School, where his passion for athletics continued to thrive. His dedication to sports led him to Monroe College, and he eventually transferred to Bloomfield College, where he pursued his love for soccer.
Despite the absence of a support system growing up and lacking someone to push him, Daniel relied on his inner drive and faith. He lives by the belief that "God doesnโt give you anything that you canโt handle"โa principle that has carried him through every obstacle. His lifeโs motivation is simple yet powerful: not to fail.
Described by those who know him best as hardworking, easygoing, and determined, Daniel is channeling his life experiences into the LIFE- Mentorship Program. He created the program not only to guide and empower youth but to teach his own children the values of helping others, having strong morals, and practicing disciplineโqualities he had to develop on his own.
Through LIFE, Daniel Hyde is building the kind of support system he never had, ensuring that the next generation knows the power of encouragement, guidance, and purpose. His mission is clear: to give othersโespecially his childrenโthe opportunities and foundation he never had.
